High School Musical as we know is an Emmy Award Winning TV Film, it’s said that it was the first ever Disney Channel Original Movie to be broadcast on the BBC on December 29, 2006. On the 16th August 2007 ratings went slightly up to 6.0 million viewers. The success was followed with High School Musical 2 which was released in 2007 and High School Musical 3: Senior Year is in production and is scheduled to be released in 2008.
